Are Children welcome?
Children are very welcome. They will find lambing time and calving of great interest.

Are gas and electricity charges included in tariff?
Yes, apart from laundry power costs which are on a coin meter

Can we walk around the farm?
Guests are encouraged to walk around our land at their leisure.

Is there safe car parking?
Yes, cars are parked in front of cottages

Is there a pub nearby?
Yes. There are many country pubs/restaurants around. We have a very friendly local pub in the village, around half a mile from the farm. Real ale and a warm welcome awaits.

Are there any shops nearby?
The nearest shops are in the village of Lanchester, some two and half miles from the farm. There is a small supermarket, bakery, deli and banks.

Are pets allowed?
No.

Is it quiet?
Yes, very quiet and peaceful.

Is there somewhere for the children to play?
Yes. The lawned areas outfront of the cottage are for all, but children can wander into the woods and field beyond.

Is there a garden to sit out in?
Yes. Garden furniture is provided outside each cottage for all to enjoy.

Is there a barbeque available for use?
Yes.

Is there a golf course nearby?
There are several, the nearest being around 3 miles away.

Are towels and linen provided?
Yes.

Have you a smoking policy?
Guests are requested not to smoke in cottages.
